Music from the Movies

Music from the Movies

We start our 2024 concerts at Shed and Silo Country Restaurant on Sunday, February 4th, at 3 PM with a performance of timeless classics from the golden age of cinema performed by one of South Africa’s premiere ensembles, Trio Gloriosa.

Relive the most beautiful moments from unforgettable films like Life is Beautiful, Cinema Paradiso, Chocolat, James Bond, Pink Panther, Out of Africa, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Ladies in Lavender, Scent of A Woman, Laurence of Arabia, and many more.

After performing together for many years, distinguished musicians Camelia Onea (violin), Berthine van Schoor (cello), and Annalien Ball (piano) officially formed Trio Gloriosa in 2014.

They have performed numerous concerts for the Unisa Music Foundation, the Tauromenium, Glenshiel, Theatre On the Square Concert series, the Aardklop and Wakkerstroom Festivals, and the Pretoria Association of the Arts.

Shed and Silo serve a legendary Sunday lunch, so why not book a lunch at the restaurant before the concert and spend a beautiful afternoon in the countryside.
