Saxophone and Piano Recital - Josie McClure (saxophone) and Eugene Joubert (piano)

Join South African saxophonist Josie McClure, a recent prize winner of the International Woodwind Competition in Bloemfontein, for an evocative recital featuring the unique sound of the classical saxophone.

A graduate of the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, Josie has made significant contributions to the promotion of South African saxophone music. She is joined by pianist Eugene Joubert in a programme that highlights her passion for new compositions and collaborations, featuring exciting works such as Yoshimatsu’s “Fuzzy Bird Sonata” and Matitia’s “The Devil’s Rag”, amongst others.
